The storage over the bathtub...

This was going to be dead space. I previously showed a pic where it was just framed in...now it has walls. We picture a double door, but aren't decided yet. The fiberglass tub (or whatever magic material they call it) is fully enclosed and there should not be a moisture problem up there.
We originally thought the door would be on the bedroom side of the wall, but realized we have a large piece of furniture on the bedroom side that would block access from the bedroom.

I tried leaving a comment - but got an error -hopefully this works. Anyways - I think you are much smarter than I with all this creative storage. In my next log home (if there is one!) - I want more built in storage.

I also was getting errors this afternoon, in fact I was afraid I had posted twice over at your Building a Log Cabin...

And somehow I have a blank post sitting as published...

Creative storage is something that it took me 25 years to learn. I never had enough space...so I was determined to think ahead this time around!

(Editorial comment from Rick)

He was tired of listening to me complain for 25 years that there wasn't enough storage space. So he was the creative one!

LOL...but actually a very true statement!
