More framing...

Framing for the upstairs bathroom. Notice the groove on the log wall. That will allow the wall panels to fit snugly against the logs.
Inside the downstairs bedroom looking into hallway and across to the kitchen.

More framing done for the kitchen (sorry for the raindrops...

once again it was pouring rain)
Downstairs shower is in place. We had to move this around a bit to get more room for the toilet. The end result will be perfect!

You are on cruise control now! We put a shower in our basement too - still looking for a loon shower curtain - or something to go w/ my loon theme in the that bathroom. Have you started buying furniture, appliances or other items yet?

Shelley...

We had spent most of our "open house" Sundays (14 months worth) picking out fixtures, lighting, faucets etc. We had a pretty good handle on most of what we wanted and what we didn't already own, we had the model numbers and a good idea on where to find the items.

Yes, we've already got the appliances, just waiting for the go ahead to deliver.

We will not be buying any new furniture. Most of our old house furniture was "new" within the past 4 years and we love it. The biggest problem there will be fitting it all into the new home. We tried to carefully place walls and windows in the design so everything would fit. We think we got it right, but...you know how it is! I'm sure we missed something...
