Our first SNOWFALL...(10-29-08)

We now take time out from our regular blogging to show pics of our first snowfall in Nicholville.

We barely made it up the driveway. We had a good 12 inches!

From the driveway looking back to the meadow and road...

Oh how beautiful! Although, I'm not looking forward to it here in Michigan anytime soon. Hope the driving isn't too bad.

Denise...we love the snow...even more now that we have retired and no longer have to worry about "when" will it start? And will I be "making it home from work?" before it gets really bad!!!

Shelley...yes, we love the long driveway too! I'm sure the first snow for Michigan is just around the corner. Can't wait to see your pics when it happens!!!

Hope you patched that hole in your roof first! :D

Well yes...Rachel the hole was covered. Luckily they had finished the chimney structure the day before! So that was okay...

I am so far behind on blogging right now...We also have the kitchen cabinets installed and I can't find time to get those pics posted...and we have 2 doors in the master bedroom...Lots of progress and no time to report!

At least you got your x-mas card-design sorted out on time ;D

Okay, this looks like you live just around the corner from Santa Clause. So can I send my wish lists for him to you instead from now on? ;D

Really beautiful place, Dianne, especially when you don't need to worry as much about inconvenient snow anymore. :D

Oh wow...

Big waves to Ellen and Michael...I've missed you both around here.

Yes, it looks just like the North Pole...send all your Santa requests here and I'll see what I can do...

Ellen...we didn't mind the snow a bit. It put both Rick and I in a great mood and we had the house to ourselves the entire day (the crew all took a "snow day") We took the dogs with us and went a this long walk through the paths. It was fantastic...
